2012 Parkinson's Unity Walk

April 2012 marks the third year the Parkinson’s disease (PD) community has celebrated Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month. Around the world, PD patients and those touched by the disease gather together in their local communities to raise awareness of PD and promote ways to improve the quality of care through research, education and support programs.
One of the biggest events in the U.S. during April is the Parkinson’s Unity Walk (PUW) in New York City’s Central Park. On Saturday, April 28, thousands of PD supporters gathered in the world-famous park to help raise critical funds for PD research. This year, walkers had the opportunity to visit and chat with a variety of sponsor booths, including Teva CNS! Click below to see highlights from the Teva CNS red carpet.
